First produce of organic vegetables from Golden Jubilee Garden

 On the occassion of Golden Jubilee celebrations the residents and staff initiated  a fruit, vegetable and herbal garden behind the main residential block. Each of the resident and staff adopted a  fruit tree and planted it in the garden. The  fruit trees planted are Chikoo, Guava, Lemon, Papaya, Seethapal, Ramphal, Coconut, Jamun, Cherry, Jack fruit, Banana etc.Trees are being watered regularly and they are growing vigorously. Some of them have started flowering.

Vegetables like Methi, Pudina, Basule (Creeper spinach), Beans, Chilly etc were planted. These have started yielding and they are being used in vegetable preparations  that are consumed by the residents.

Herbs like Nagadale, Amrutha balli, Dodda pathre, Chakramuni, tincture, Tulsi etc which are good for over all health sugar reduction, cholesterol, blood purification and circulation, cough, cold and fever, skin problems etc have grown very well and are being used by the residents when ever required.
