On the occassion of Golden Jubilee celebrations the residents and staff initiated a fruit, vegetable and herbal garden behind the main residential block. Each of the resident and staff adopted a fruit tree and planted it in the garden. Ms.Lalitha a polio victim who has been with us in the old age home for the last 30 years developed complications arising out of acute diabetes. She lost blood circulation in both her legs and had to be operated to avoid complication of gangrene. Both her legs from the knee were amputated at Manipal Hospital. She has recovered and there ls lot of improvement with daily medical care.
