Building construction & Maintainence

Both  the Homes at HAL Airport Road & Whitefield are bequests made by philanthropists Dr & Mrs.Z.R.Kothavala and Mr.J.H.Macguckin. This was the corner stone for the establishment of the Cheshire Homes Bangalore.

The expansion to the  Homes by constructing new blocks and refurbishing the existing buildings was made possible through financial support from well wishers like Rotary Club Indiranagar, Indian Air Force, Hindustan Aeronatuics, Hewlet Packard,  Mr.Yusuf Sait & Mrs.Ahluwalia.

You too could support the ongoing projects as well as major repair and maintenance activities by contributing generously. Your gesture would be appropriately recognised in the project concerned.

On the occassion of the Golden Jubilee Year we have taken up the task of replacing the 80 year old cottage at the Old Age Home and adding one more block for increasing the capacity for accomdation. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1 crore. For details click here
