Deepavali celebrations on 5th Nov 2010

 In the   evening the  residents decorated the front courtyard with  colourful rangoli and lit lamps. They  dressed in  new clothes for the auspicious occassion . Donors started  arriving and they joined the residents in  the  festivities. They  lit sparklers and burst crackers.

A dance group of volunteers highlighted the entertainment with a dance program.

The highlight of the evening was a  special  diwali dinner where  the donors and dance group volunteers joined the residents.
